Head of Employment

Paul graduated from the University of Essex with a LLB in English and European Law. He continued his studies in Sweden undertaking a Masters Degree in International Law at the University of Stockholm.

Paul advises employers and senior executives on a wide range of employment issues including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, harassment, restrictive covenants, injunctions, bullying, breach of contract claims, compromise agreements, contracts of employment and director’s service agreements. He has particular expertise in executive dispute work, employment tribunal litigation including discrimination cases and class action claims. He has been involved in a number of high profile cases including the largest class action case brought before the Scottish Employment Tribunals.

Paul advises clients in a range of sectors including retail, media, transport, manufacturing and education. Paul is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Andrew Walker Andrew Walker
Trainee Solicitor

Andrew graduated from the University Of Newcastle in 2009 with a LLB honours degree before going onto complete the Legal Practise Course at Northumbria University. He joined McHale and co in July 2011 as a trainee solicitor and is due to qualify in 2013. Outside of work Andrew is a very keen sportsman who plays a lot of rugby and golf.
